Heat Pumps have become a practical, more efficient alternative to traditional furnace and air conditioning equipment in milder climates. In most HVAC programs, HPs can be as little as a multi-week topic (and set of labs) and as much as a full term/semester course. We have seen an increase in HP coverage and in fact it was one of the most in-demand topics to be added to the first release of DOTS: HVAC— which has been done with the new interface this month. We have one of the few texts written for the education market. It has been superceded by a book from ESCO Press and another from the PBU; but neither can compete with the authority of our author, Eugene Silberstein.
