The book is based on Bill Whites Isotope Geochemistry course at Cormell and (like his Geochmistry text) is already written and available for download from the web. At least a dozen departments worldwide are already using it as the course text. The book lays out the chemical principles in  clear and jargon-free manner, then goes on to examine the geochemistry of radiogenic and stable isotopes and their many uses in branches of earth and environmental science. The level of mathematics is kept at a level consistent with a typical earth science graduate (US) third/fourth year u/g (UK, Canada etc) The author has agreed to update as necessary, and will provide problems sets in the book.
