This book provides a pragmatic, hands-on, no-nonsense approach to reaching an Intermediate Level of sophistication as a financial modeler.  The core concept of the book is that of a practical and progressive extension of modeling and financial techniques learned in the first book, A Fast Tract to Structured Finance Modeling, Monitoring and Valuation.  There will be very little theoretical discussion about computer science, operations research algorithms, mathematics or finance.  The thrust of the contents is to apply the basic level organizational, coding, modeling, and financial skills already developed and extend these principals in a step-by-step progressive manner to new and more powerful applications.  These applications will build on the knowledge of Excel and VBA gained and expand to the use of Access for data management tasks and Power Point and Outlook for reporting and presentation tasks.
